-It is generally considered that choosing a job that pays higher is considered more valuable than a job that provides sense of fulfillment. I completely disagree with this statement as having higher satisfaction in job it leads to mental wellbeing and career growth.

The persons overall personality is determined by the environment in their profession. This personality determines their behaviors outside of their cubicles too which is showcased in the family, home and in social context. If a person cannot find happiness in the workplace, then his work cycles is also affected. Additionally, their external life will also be hampered and result imbalance in their self-mental issues.  For example, workers working in aviation industries are seeking more psychological counseling due to the higher work pressure. Therefore, with the job satisfaction, the employee can maintain good mental health and enjoy more life outside their office time.

Secondly, I believe that as a human to prosper in any occupation the job satisfaction should be priority. This happens when we are satisfied with the work culture, we are bound to. However, if such stability in workplace is disturbed and results in more pressure and compromises, the desire to do the work and its efficiency is highly affected. For example, the employees who were put on extra shifts in the mobile manufacturing divisions were merely getting the promotion. Hence, when one finds joy in the chore one is involved, the professional career can march forward.

In conclusion, although the higher pay may increase our materialistic possession, for the overall growth and social wellbeing, job satisfaction should be focused.
